A Backyard Wedding

Stamford, Connecticut

Danny and Lauren wanted a small backyard wedding for their October nuptials. The branding & event design were inspiring, beginning with the invitation received to the iconic vignettes they planned out for their portrait session; everything tied together masterfully in a cohesive and authentic story of their love.

Banana Leaves

Lauren and Danny just moved to their new home and they have the most amazing taste in interior design. I was in love with the "Martinique" wallpaper from the Beverly Hills Hotel and wanted to use it as a background for continuity knowing we had shots in front of real banana leaves planned for later that day.

The bartlett arboretum

The ceremony took place at the nearby arboretum. Danny and Lauren loved the grounds and thought the local gem would be a perfect place for their intimate ceremony.

Hedge Floral created the most stunning flower arch for the ceremony.

The Reception

Back home the party was just getting started. At least a hundred more guests appeared on the scene ready to celebrate and shower the couple with love.
