Stamford, Connecticut
Danny and Lauren wanted a small backyard wedding for their October nuptials. Danny's background in event design and their abundant guest list of friends and family eventually elevated the wedding into something truly spectacular. The branding & event design was inspiring, beginning with the invitation received to the iconic vignettes they planned out for their portrait session; everything tied together masterfully in a cohesive and authentic story of their love.

The tree seen here in their backyard served as the initial inspiration for the wedding that made its way onto the formal invitation.

Isn't She lovely
Lauren is a truly beloved person and was surrounded by many friends and family as she got ready in her home. The day was supposed to be all about celebrating her, but she found a way to make everyone in her presence feel important & special.

Banana Leaves
Lauren and Danny just moved to their new home and they have the most amazing taste in interior design. I was in love with the "Martinique" wallpaper from the Beverly Hills Hotel and wanted to use it as a background for continuity knowing we had shots in front of real banana leaves planned for later that day.

Danny giving his nephew some words of encouragement for the ceremony.

The bartlett arboretum
The ceremony took place at the nearby arboretum. Danny and Lauren loved the grounds and thought the local gem would be a perfect place for their intimate ceremony.

Hedge Floral created the most stunning flower arch for the ceremony.

A sweet image of Papa Giardullo was captured by my amazing husband. He is a close friend of Danny.

A real first look
I know a lot of photographers encourage a staged "First Look," but I prefer the real thing. Even if the shot isn't perfect, there is nothing more exceptional than a groom's expression seeing his bride for the first time as she walks down the aisle.

The Reception
Back home the party was just getting started. At least a hundred more guests appeared on the scene ready to celebrate and shower the couple with love.
