A Private Party
Notable patrons of the Glimmerglass Opera Festival gathered at a private home on the Upper West Side to celebrate & fundraise. On-camera flash, slow shutter, and ambient room images were on the photography agenda. Images of live Opera performances must be achieved with minimal disruption to the event and this was a unique challenge in this intimate setting. Event photography is a dance of capturing what is needed without overstepping.
